Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring an HVAC Installer to install, commission, diagnose, repair, and start-up systems at customer sites in Nashville and surrounding areas. You will interpret drawings, plan work, coordinate with other trades, and ensure safety standards and on-site paperwork are completed promptly.

The role requires 2–5 years in Commercial HVAC installation, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for overtime and travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2–5 years in commercial HVAC installation preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices (smartphone/tablet).
• State licenses preferred (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator).

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, diagnose, repair, and start-up HVAC systems on customer sites.
• Plan, analyze, and complete projects on schedule with safety in mind.
• Interpret drawings and install equipment per plans and specs.
• Maintain safety standards and complete on-site paperwork promptly.
• Provide on-site training and customer support; document work and travel.
