Job summary

William Charles Electric, a MasTec Company, seeks a Project Engineer to support renewables and power delivery projects. This on-site role collaborates with PMs, Superintendents, subcontractors and clients to ensure documentation, quality, scheduling and field operations meet contract requirements.

You can live anywhere in the continental US; work is primarily Midwest-based with possible travel to eastern/western states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in Civil, Electrical or Industrial Construction is required.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scheduling of subcontractors on site.
• Receive and check quality of materials.
• Complete QA/QC checklists.
• Handle submittals (material approvals).
• Manage RFIs (general questions).
• Prepare official project documents, routing and finalizing.
• Prepare project reports as needed.
• Back up documentation for projects.
• Close-outs final quantities.
• Propose/ negotiate extra work.
• Assist with special projects within Project Management as needed.
