Job summary

William Charles Electric, a MasTec Company, is hiring a Project Engineer to support documentation and QA/QC activities across multiple projects. The role collaborates with site superintendents to optimize labor, equipment, and subcontractors.

The position involves travel up to 75% and may be based in Midwest sites; per diem provided, company vehicle and fuel card supplied. Travel will include lodging and various transport modes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred
2 years of experience in Civil, Electrical or Industrial Construction
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

Preparing scheduling of subcontractors on site
Receiving and checking quality of materials
Completing QA/QC checklists
Submittals (material approvals)
RFI's (general questions)
Preparing official documents for the project, routing and finalizing
Preparing projects reports as needed
Back up documentation
Close-outs final quantities
Proposing/ negotiation extra work
Special projects within the Project Management function as necessary
Other duties as assigned by the Project Management Department
