Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Vermont seeks an HSSE Specialist to lead safety, health, security, and environmental programs at a client site. You will develop and implement HSSE systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership.

You will manage incident investigations, training, and contractor qualification programs to strengthen the site's HSSE culture and performance. A strong background in OSHA/EPA/DOT standards is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of HSSE experience in facility operations.
• Solid knowledge of OSHA/EPA/DOT standards.
• Experience with safety inspections and root-cause investigations.
• Excellent written and oral communication; ability to influence across teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office and reporting databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSSE management systems and compliance programs at Client site.
• Monitor HSSE metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Conduct safety inspections and hazard evaluations.
• Oversee investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate HSSE training programs and contractor safety qualifications.

Education

Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, environmental science, or related field

CSP/CIH/CHMM or equivalent certification
