Job summary

BRPH is seeking an HSE Manager (Construction) to oversee safety programs across multiple locations, including on-site at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The role requires ensuring compliance with OSHA/USACE, conducting investigations, and coordinating training and audits.

The ideal candidate holds a BA in Environmental or Occupational Health & Safety or 10 years of construction HSE experience with supervisory background; CHST or EM-385 certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Occupational Health & Safety or 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Informs Project teams of HSE requirements and verifies they are incorporated.
• Develops and provides project management guidance for HSE MS Program.
• Participates in meetings to advise on mitigation plans and training.
• Develops, implements, and maintains HSE training plans.
• Stops work in dangerous situations.
• Provides advice on work practices before start of work.
• Conducts accident investigations and documents findings.
• Coordinates inspections and audits.
• Conducts environmental compliance inspections.
• Interprets HSE standards for project integration.
• Maintains data for risk, training, incidents, and reports.
• Prepares and issues monthly HSE performance reports.
• Supports development of HSE processes (Permit to Work, Fall Protection, etc.).
• Maintains relationships with supervision, subcontractors, and regulators.
