Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to join our on-site team in Reno, Nevada. The role emphasizes implementing the HSE plan, ensuring regulatory compliance, and actively managing contractor safety performance.

The position requires a High School/GED and 3+ years of HSE experience in industrial construction or power projects, with strong incident investigation capabilities preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HSE experience supporting industrial construction or power generation projects.
• Experience working with contractors and managing project safety programs.
• Incident Investigation And Corrective Action Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and administer the project-specific HSE Management Plan.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state regulations, and company HSE requirements.
• Conduct routine field observations, inspections, and audits to verify compliance.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and enforce project safety expectations.
• Review and approve Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA), and Safe Work Plans.
• Participate in construction planning meetings to identify and mitigate hazards prior to work execution.
• Assist with development and implementation of site-specific procedures and work instructions.
• Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement and visible field presence.
