Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) in Dahlgren, VA is seeking a Human Resources Staffing and Classification Program Analyst to support on-site HR activities at NSWC Dam Neck, VA. The role covers staffing, onboarding, and recruitment in a federal environment, with emphasis on compliance and data integrity.

The position requires an active DoD Interim-Secret clearance, an associate degree or equivalent HR experience, and strong proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and DCPDS.

Qualifications

• Active DoD-issued Interim-Secret (or higher) clearance required.
• Experience in staff recruitment, onboarding, and program management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of federal hiring and onboarding to support NSWCDD HR office in Dam Neck, VA.
• Lead staffing activities, track applicants, and provide recommendations.
• Oversee hiring workflows and data accuracy in systems like SharePoint.
• Review and validate employment records in DCPDS and process personnel actions.
• Manage full onboarding lifecycle with timely offers and milestones.
• Provide guidance on HR inquiries related to positions, benefits, leave, pay, and policy interpretation.
• Lead review and validation of SF-50s for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Lead HR support for New Employee Orientation (NEO) activities.
