Job summary

Austincc is seeking an HR professional at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to provide a full range of HR services for managers and staff. The role includes advising on complex personnel issues and overseeing HR staff as needed.

The ideal candidate has 18+ months of HR experience in staffing, recruitment, and labor relations, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with HR systems. This is a non-remote federal pathway position based in Maryland.

Qualifications

• 18+ months of HR office experience in staffing, recruitment, classification, or training.
• Experience analyzing and resolving complex HR issues across multiple organizations or locations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work with HR information systems of comparable complexity to NF-03.
• Preferred: 12 months in a NAF HR Office and completing related training.

Responsibilities

• Provides full range of HR services for managers and employees and advises on complex personnel issues.
• Performs staffing, pay administration, training, incentive awards, and benefits administration.
• Applies knowledge of regulatory compliance to policies, regulations and directives for NAF employment.
• Supervises and coordinates a team of lower graded HR staff when required.
