Job summary

Missouri Star Quilt Company is seeking an organized People Team Coordinator to join our Hamilton, MO office. You will serve as the welcoming frontline for employee questions and provide essential HR administrative support across MSQC’s brands.

You will maintain accurate records in ADP HRIS, assist with onboarding/offboarding, payroll inputs, benefits and leaves, and support recruiting and reporting tasks. A detail-oriented, confidential, and proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of administrative experience, HR support a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Meticulous, professional and confidential demeanor.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; ADP HRIS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline employee support for questions on timecards, policies, and general inquiries.
• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (ADP) and perform routine file audits.
• Collect timecard updates and PTO requests; coordinate with payroll and finance.
• Assist onboarding checklists, equipment setup, and new hire documentation; support offboarding.
• Help with benefits documentation during open enrollment and leave tracking.
• Support recruiting tasks: background checks, offer letters, handbook distribution.
• Pull routine HR reports (headcount, leave balances) for team leaders.
• Support people projects and presentations with data gathering.
