Major Contracting is seeking an experienced HR Manager for Construction & Field Operations to lead our HR department, field workforce operations, and labor compliance. You will bridge corporate strategy with jobsite labor needs—direct talent acquisition, benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with state and federal laws; 5+ years of HR leadership, and on-site availability are required.

Competitive salary range of $70,000 to $85,000, comprehensive benefits including 401(k)

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years progressive HR experience, incl. 2+ years in HR management roles.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, wage and hour, FMLA/ADA.
• Proficiency in MS Office 365, ATS, and HRIS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; confidential handling.
• On-site availability to work 100% in person at HQ and regional facility.

Responsabilités

• Direct talent acquisition for corporate personnel and craft trades.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, DOL regulations.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and OSHA recordkeeping.
• Administer benefits, payroll integration, and 401(k) programs.
• Maintain HRIS data, ATS, and headcount reporting.
