Job summary

MPI is seeking a hands-on Human Resources leader for a manufacturing facility in Devens, MA. The role partners with site leadership to drive employee engagement, HR guidance across the lifecycle, and labor relations in a fast-paced environment.

The position serves as the sole on-site HR resource, collaborating with a broader HR team and driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity. 5 days on-site per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of HR experience in a union environment.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) a plus.
• Working knowledge of employee relations, performance management, engagement, DEI, and labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant management as HR advisor on business and workforce decisions.
• Staffing process management: sourcing, interviewing, background checks, onboarding.
• Guide managers on employee issues and conflict resolution.
