Job summary

PrideStaff is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support a leading organization in Morris County, NJ. This role administers a broad range of core HR functions, including employee relations, onboarding, payroll processing, benefits, compliance, and HRIS administration.

As a key point of contact for employees and leadership, you will promote a high-performing work environment while ensuring policy consistency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience.
• Hands-on payroll processing experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, benefits administration, and MS Office required.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and confidentiality.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and workplace matters.
• Support management with performance management, attendance tracking, and conduct issues.
• Oversee full-cycle recruitment: posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and draft offer letters.
• Facilitate new hire orientations and manage onboarding documentation.
• Process and audit employee payroll data to ensure accuracy.
• Administer employee benefit programs, manage open enrollment, and handle life events.
• Maintain personnel files in compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
