Job summary

Shiseido Americas, a subsidiary of Shiseido Company Limited, is seeking a Manager, Human Resources for the Groveport, Ohio Distribution Center. This on-site role supports ~200 employees across three shifts, delivering full HR lifecycle services, workforce planning, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.

You will partner with site leadership and HR Centers of Excellence to deliver timely HR solutions, drive engagement, and support Talent Acquisition activities including Hajimari Summer

Qualifications

• College degree or the required work experience, and a Human Resources certification (e.g., SHRM).
• Lean Six Sigma certification is desired but not required.
• HR generalist experience supporting an hourly employee population in a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing or logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for ~200 employees across three shifts, offering guidance on policies, benefits, attendance, leaves, and daily HR matters.
• Partner with DC leaders to foster a people-first culture, improve communication, and resolve issues across all shifts.
• Collaborate with the Director of HR on site priorities, employee relations, and engagement aligned with global/regional HR goals.
• Maintain on-site presence five days per week and adjust schedule to ensure accessible HR support.
• Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly roles and select professional positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance, coaching, and leave administration, ensuring policy consistency.
• Conduct timely, objective workplace investigations, document findings, and recommend resolutions.
• Facilitate onboarding and New Hire Orientation, complete required paperwork and check-ins.
• Support Hajimari Summer Internship onboarding activities with Corporate Talent Acquisition.
• Promote engagement initiative and monitor implementation of action plans.
• Collaborate on supply chain process improvements, including Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Update HR dashboards for real-time workforce analytics.
• Assist with corporate compliance and local HR policies.
• Stay updated on employment law developments.
