Job summary

MARA Holdings is seeking an HR Generalist for its Ohio mining operations, based at the Hannibal site with a hybrid work arrangement and a 25% travel requirement to other Ohio locations.

You will act as the on-site HR partner, handling employee relations, onboarding, performance management, benefits, compliance, training, HR data, and site logistics, while partnering with leadership to foster a compliant, engaged workplace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in an onsite facility.
• Experience independently managing employee relations and investigations.
• Working knowledge of Ohio employment law.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site HR partner for site employees and leaders.
• Lead employee relations, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Own onboarding, offboarding, and HRIS updates.
• Administer benefits enrollment and leave of absence processes.
• Support performance management cycles and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Coordinate training and site-level certifications.
• Assist with HR reporting and analytics for the site.
• Foster MARA Holdings values and employee engagement.
• Travel 25% for Ohio site visits and meetings.
