Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking an HR Generalist for its Westlake, Texas corporate office. The role supports payroll, benefits, employee relations, training, and HR program administration across the region.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of HR experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, with HRIS familiarity and a bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. The position offers an on-site work arrangement with up to 15% travel to OpCos as needed and a collaborative environment focused on compliant

Qualifications

• 1 year of HR experience or equivalent education/experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred
• HR Certification a plus (SHRM, PHR)

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding needs and conduct weekly new hire orientation when needed
• Process biweekly payroll when needed
• Maintain HRIS data and support audits
• Administer HR plans including pay, benefits, and leave processes
• Respond to employee inquiries about policies and HR programs
• Coordinate training and cultural activities across the region
• Provide employee relations support including investigations
• Assist with performance review cycles and management
• Audit timekeeping records for compliance
• Support unemployment claim responses
• Assist with HR processes across Core-Mark
