Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• 1+ year of human resources management experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred.
• SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run daily HR operations, including hiring, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, and leave administration.
• Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions in collaboration with department managers.
• Conduct background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
• Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training, and compliance.
• Review, track, and document compliance with required training, certifications, and continuing education.
• Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
• Respond to HR-related inquiries from employees, applicants, and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
• Maintain awareness of HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
• Support performance evaluations and may oversee daily workflow of HR staff.
