Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking an on-site HR Business Partner for a consumer products plant in the Pittsburgh region. You will serve as the HR contact for roughly 80 employees, partnering with plant management and frontline staff.

This role focuses on employee relations, performance coaching, recruiting, and ensuring compliance with employment law, with a pathway to broader HR oversight across multiple sites. Local candidates only; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR within manufacturing or warehousing.
• Local candidates preferred; relocation not offered.
• Union environment experience preferred; strong candidates without it who can pick it up will be considered.
• Ability to handle sensitive employee matters independently and know when to escalate.
• Builds trust with everyone from the floor to the front office.
• HRIS experience a plus, especially helping with an implementation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of HR contact for a plant of roughly 80 employees.
• Coach plant leaders through employee relations issues, performance conversations, and conflict.
• Work alongside corporate HR on union grievances and labor relations.
• Drive site-level recruiting, onboarding, and retention.
• Keep the site in line with employment law and company policy.
• Stay visible on the production floor so employees know who to come to.
• Help roll out HR systems and process improvements.
• Report site trends and concerns up to HR leadership.
