Job summary

Tax Relief Helpers in Encino, CA is seeking a highly organized Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day HR operations. This on-site, part-time role (20 hours/week) reports to the HR Manager and offers opportunities to grow into a full-time position.

You will help with recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, employee records, payroll coordination in Paycom, benefits administration, and HR communications while handling confidential information with discretion.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of administrative, HR, recruiting or payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Manager and HR Department.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist with recruiting, postings, resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Support payroll and timesheet coordination in Paycom.
• Assist benefits administration and HR communications.
• Maintain HRIS data and help with compliance tasks.
• Support HR projects and process improvements.
