Job summary

State College TownePlace Suites is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations on-site in State College, PA. You will ensure compliance with procedures, train staff, and support guests with exemplary service.

Candidates should have housekeeping experience in hospitality; supervisory experience is a plus, and bilingual English/Spanish is beneficial. Some college preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry; supervisory experience a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• High school graduate or equivalent, some college preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling requirements, and use of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily housekeeping operations to ensure room readiness.
• Train staff and ensure all required training is completed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in assigned areas.
• Ensure compliance with Shaner Hotels and brand standards.
• Review daily business levels and plan effective solutions.
• Assist staff to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, and houseperson duties as needed.
