Job summary

The DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport Convention Center is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. This on-site role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and oversees floor housekeeping operations to ensure rooms meet cleanliness standards and are ready for guests.

The successful candidate will supervise Room Attendants, coordinate daily tasks, handle VIP rooms, maintain records, and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and timely room readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Able to communicate clearly with all levels of staff and guests; maintain a courteous, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with hotel standards and schedules.
• Flexible with long hours and shift requirements.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms meet cleanliness standards.
• Inspect rooms daily for deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Monitor VIP room statuses and coordinate with Front Office per hotel standards.
• Supervise room attendants and housekeeping carts, maintain supply levels.
• Maintain records of daily assignments and submit to Housekeeping Office.
• Train Room Attendants and oversee routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure guest safety and confidentiality of information.
• Provide excellent guest service and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
