Job summary

The Personal Computer Technician at Carlsbad Medical Center provides on-site hardware, software, telecommunications, and network support to ensure optimal functionality of IT infrastructure. This temporary role supports the Information Systems department in Carlsbad, NM, with up to 40 hours per week on day shifts through February 2027.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Certified Electronics Technician (CET) preferred.
• 0-1 years of hospital information systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site hardware, software, telecommunications, and network support for hospital IT systems.
• Installs and maintains hospital IT systems, networking equipment, and telecommunications systems.
• Troubleshoots software and network-based issues and coordinates equipment moves with other service departments.
