ProHealth Home Health & Hospice in Daphne, AL is seeking a Home Care Scheduler to coordinate and maintain scheduling for clients and staff. You will create and manage staff schedules, arrange coverage for sick leave and vacations, and align patient visits with care plans while maintaining accurate records.

The role requires basic medical terminology, MS Office proficiency, and strong communication and organizational skills to support daily operations and patient care schedules.

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Scheduling experience preferred to support operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, and scheduling tools.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge is expected.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with good communication.
• Ability to follow directions, read and write clearly.
• Maturity to handle job demands professionally.

Mansioni

• Creates and maintains staff schedules per policies.
• Provides staffing for sick leave and vacations.
• Schedules patient visits based on care plans and staff availability.
• Enters scheduling data and tracks staff call-ins and leave.
• Contacts care providers and patients for day-to-day changes and documents in records.
• Maintains patient databases and handles SOCS/ROCS-related entries.
• Performs general office duties and reception tasks.
• Uploads documents to the medical record and handles electronic fax.
• Other duties as assigned.
