Job summary

Visit.org is seeking a Site Lead to own regional warehouse operations, inventory integrity, and vendor relations in a fast-growing social-impact startup. You will build scalable processes, lead from the floor, and drive KPI improvements across shipping, packing, and fulfillment.

You will manage a diverse team, design SOPs, coordinate with 3PLs, and ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high quality for events and kits nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on warehouse operations, fulfillment, logistics, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse teams with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Build and document SOPs from the ground up and train teams on new processes.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and system reconciliation.
• Coordinate 3PLs, carriers, and freight providers; monitor performance.
• Track and improve KPIs like on-time shipment rate, inventory accuracy, and cost per kit.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end regional warehouse operations including receiving, QC, staging, kitting, packing, and outbound shipping.
• Design and scale a warehouse workflow; document SOPs; train and audit adherence; continuously improve.
• Lead from the floor and step into stations as needed when volume requires it.
• Prioritize daily tasks using shipment deadlines to keep events on schedule.
• Supervise and develop staff with ongoing performance feedback in an agile startup culture.
• Manage packing standards to ensure kits arrive intact and audit packing quality.
