Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for the first shift in Joliet, IL. The role involves leading 30-40 associates, ensuring safety, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a food-grade warehouse.

We offer an attractive salary plus benefits, PTO, and a 6:00AM–2:30PM schedule. Strong communication skills and a bi-lingual (Spanish) ability are a plus. On-site work with opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a supervisor warehousing role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe environment for the customer's product, associates, and temporary workers.
• Follow established procedures for verification of shipments, handling, disposition of materials, and keeping inventory current.
• Build a positive teamwork environment by listening and communicating with all associates.
• Help maintain attendance and tardiness records.
• Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures.
• Investigate accidents and prepare reports.
• Provide on-the-job coaching and training to maintain skills.
• Coordinate vacations, payroll, and time sheets for associates and temporary workers.
• Oversee 30-40 associates.
• Maintain GMP for food-grade warehouse.
