Job summary

Per Mar Security Services seeks a Fire Alarm Inspector to deliver reliable on-site maintenance, inspections, and preventative services for fire and security systems. Starting pay is based on experience.

Qualified candidates will have a valid driver's license, ability to travel, and knowledge of fire and electrical codes. The role includes documentation, client communication, and collaboration with the Central Monitoring Station to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must be able to obtain required licenses/certifications to work in security per state regulations.
• High School Diploma or GED is required for all Per Mar Security Services positions.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Strong mathematical skills including basic algebra and geometry are required.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes to ensure safe installation and service of alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventive maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify that panels, sirens, horns, strobes and devices function per manufacturer specifications.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department daily.
• Communicate with clients, co-workers, and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
