Job summary

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Fire Alarm Inspector to perform on-site maintenance, inspections, and preventative services on client fire and security systems. Starting pay is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required; able to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Must obtain required licenses/certifications to perform work in the security industry as per state regulations.
• High School diploma or GED required for all Per Mar Security Services positions.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Strong mathematical skills including calculations of fractions, percentages, areas and volumes.
• Knowledge of fire and electrical codes to ensure safe installation of alarm systems and devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform fire protection inspections and preventative maintenance on client fire alarm systems.
• Test and verify all systems and devices function according to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete proper paperwork and submit daily to the appropriate department.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station.
• All other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
