Job summary
Peoplify in Tampa seeks a Financial Controller to lead the accounting function, reporting to the Remote Group Controller and the on-site President. This full-time, on-site role supports commercial construction projects using Knowify and various billing portals.
Responsibilities include month-end close, WIP, reconciliations, payroll, KPI reporting, and financial statements for the Board. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years in accounting, CPA preferred, and proficiency in QuickBooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Five+ years of accounting experience required.
- Experience in the commercial construction industry preferred.
- Experience with QBO and Knowify project management software preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close, including WIP and journal entries.
- Oversee reconciliations and financial statement preparation for Board presentation.
- Manage payroll processes and pre-qualification documentation.
- Collaborate with Office Manager on AP and lien waivers.
- Prepare budget input and insurance-related financial reporting.
