Job summary

Bastionpoint Technology, a Richmond, VA-based MSP, seeks a Finance and Procurement Assistant to keep our office running smoothly. You will manage inventories, assist with purchasing, and support accounting processes in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

This on-site role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information. Prior experience with HaloPSA and QuickBooks is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in office administration, inventory management, purchasing, accounting support, or related operations role.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Experience with HaloPSA or similar PSA and QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep office spaces clean, organized, and stocked.
• Assist with mail and package distribution.
• Support meetings and events as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in CRM and related systems.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
• Organize stockroom inventory and ensure security and efficiency.
• Process inventory transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Place stock orders with distributors and vendors.
• Enter vendor invoices and expenses accurately.
• Assist with accounts payable processing.
• Reconcile vendor statements and charges.
• Support month-end administrative and accounting activities.
• Handle sensitive employee records and financial data with care.
