Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking an on-site technician to support customer locations with first-level technical and administrative tasks in a manufacturing environment. You will collect, analyze, test and record machine samples, maintain coolant filters and lab equipment, and assist with routine maintenance under supervision.

This day shift role operates on a 4 on/4 off rotating schedule, includes weekends and holidays, and requires strict adherence to EH&S policies, data entry into site software, and

Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection, analysis, testing and recording of machine samples.
• Perform bio-stick dip tests of all machine sumps and central systems.
• Assist in the maintenance of coolant filters, washers, paint systems, air handling systems, etc., for sump changes and cleaning.
• Enter data for daily results into site software program.
• Assist in maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment (scales, pH meters, glassware, incubators).
• Support site staff with organization initiatives (inventory, labeling, storage).
• Follow EH&S standards and company policies; work under Site Manager supervision.
