Job summary

Quaker Houghton is seeking an entry-level Laboratory/Operations Assistant to support sampling, testing, and routine maintenance at customer sites and in laboratories. The role emphasizes safety, data entry, and adherence to site controls.

You will help with chemical handling, equipment cleaning, and basic calibration under supervision, contribute to waste management, and participate in organizing storage areas while developing an individual development plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to work onsite at customer sites and laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Assist in collection, analysis, testing and recording of machine samples.
• Perform bio-stick dip tests of all machine sumps and central systems.
• Assist in maintenance of coolant filters, washers, paint systems, air handling systems and related equipment.
• Participate in addition of chemicals and other fluids as directed by site staff.
• Enter daily results into site software.
• Assist in maintaining tools and laboratory equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support site staff with organization and inventory tasks.
• Comply with company policies and contribute to IDP with direct manager.
• Engage in waste management and recycling initiatives.
