Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service and maintenance for hydraulic systems at customer sites in Elkview, WV. The role includes installation, diagnostics, repair, and customer support with a focus on safety and compliance.

You will respond to on-site service requests, perform upgrades, and provide technical guidance to customers while maintaining clear communication with clients and management.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and 0–3 years of related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs, equipment servicing and upgrades on a 24/7 on-call basis.
• Installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnoses problems, documents findings, and decides on repair or replacement of parts.
• Keeps customers informed on service status and suggests enhancements, upgrades, or repairs.
• Ensures compliance with local and national regulations and company safety standards.
• Provides technical support and training to customers on operation and maintenance of system equipment.
