Job summary

Canon USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver exceptional service and elevated efficiency in the routine maintenance of Canon-supported products. The role requires reporting to management on product failures, performing field/on-site maintenance, and maintaining detailed service records.

The position involves 3.5-day work cycles with one weekend day, night shift differential, and a transportation allowance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of internet environments.
• Ability to travel with valid driver's license.
• Capable of working in a 24/7 environment with shift work and on‑call rotations.
• Must obtain security and/or other clearances as required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time.

Responsibilities

• Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with documentation.
• Provide efficient, responsive, and accurate field/on-site maintenance.
• Maintain Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property.
• Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintain performance of assigned machines and help achieve branch targets.
