Job summary

Hobart Service is seeking a Service/Repair Technician II to provide on-site support for customers, including installation, service, and preventive maintenance of commercial food equipment. The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to interpret schematics, and willingness to work on-call, after-hours, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, HVACR experience or EPA certification, and a readiness to maintain equipment

Qualifications

• Education and work experience as listed: diploma or GED with electrical/mechanical background.
• EPA certification or HVACR background is acceptable or required.
• Facilities experience with installation, maintenance and repair of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment.
• Read and interpret service manuals and schematics to troubleshoot issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document results for customers.
• Support safety manuals and procedures; follow company policies and quality standards.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and company assets and assist with on-call duties.
