Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC is seeking a Service/Repair Technician 2 to provide on-site support for Hobart Service customers. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial food equipment on a contract or T&M basis, with on-call and after-hours work as needed.

The role requires basic mechanical and electrical knowledge, the ability to read service manuals, and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with relevant electrical and mechanical experience, or HVACR experience with EPA certification, or a HVACR certificate.
• Associates degree or vocational certificate is preferred.
• Industry certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install and service mechanical and electrical commercial food equipment on site.
• Diagnose and repair equipment on contract or time-and-material basis.
• Interpret schematics and follow safety manuals and procedures.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and assets including tools and inventory.
• Provide a quality customer experience and meet safety standards.
