Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site support for hydraulic and related equipment in Lafferty, OH. You will perform installation, diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance with on-site responsibility.

Under supervision, you’ll collaborate with customers, peers and management to resolve issues while meeting safety and regulatory requirements. A technical degree and 0–3 years’ related experience are typical qualifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to read hydraulic schematics
• Ability to operate shop equipment safely
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site services for new and existing clients, including repairs and upgrades
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine repair vs. replacement parts
• Provide technical support and training to customers on system equipment
• Communicate findings to customers and stakeholders and document service actions
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
