Job summary

Peraton Corporation is seeking a full-time Field Service Engineer to support the Washington Planning Center at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. You will troubleshoot, configure, and maintain TMPC products on-site, ensuring system reliability and security in a DoD environment.

Strong Windows/Linux expertise and an active DoD Top Secret clearance are required. You will work closely with the customer to perform system upgrades, provide help desk support, and address discrepancies, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Education: 5 years with BS degree, 3 years with MS, and 0 years with a PhD, or at least 9 years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
• U.S. Citizen with active DoD Top Secret (SCI) clearance.
• Security+ or DoD Directive 8570/CE compliance and CE compliance within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide TMPC system administrator support.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system/software issues.
• Maintain systems with software and security updates.
• Support system upgrades/installations.
• Help desk support for TMPC products.
• Investigate and report software discrepancies.
• Support cyber security accreditation of TMPC (ACAS/Nessus).
• Monitor system performance and product assurance.
• Support test events and related customer requirements.
