Position

We are seeking an Entry-Level Field Network Technician to join our service team in the Portland, OR area.

This is a field-based position supporting customers throughout Portland and the surrounding areas, with a territory that may be located near your home.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of network connectivity, network security, and Wi‑Fi networks.

• Working knowledge of Windows environments and common operating systems.

• Ability to work with a variety of customers and vendors, both technical and non‑technical.

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to gather information and troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.

• Ability to travel locally to various customer locations.

• Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and written documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous field networking or IT support experience is preferred but not required.

• Understanding of networking protocols and concepts, including SMTP, FTP, SMB, ports, and TCP/IP.

• Hands‑on experience supporting users with Windows desktop operating systems and common Microsoft applications.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of the Mac OS environment.

• CompTIA Network+ certification.

• Previous experience working with IT professionals or within an IT support environment.
