Job summary

Gray Construction seeks a Field Engineer to support on-site project teams across multiple markets, from layout to QA/QC, safety, and daily reporting.

You will assist Site Manager with procurement, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors, while maintaining up-to-date drawings and safety programs. This role requires travel across the United States; candidates may live anywhere in the USA and travel per Gray’s policy.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent plus 2 years construction experience, or 4+ years without degree.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; tablets and smartphones.
• Strong work ethic, energetic and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager with layout of structural, civil, process, and architectural items.
• Procure construction materials and manage purchase orders.
• Monitor deliveries, receive reports, and support QA/QC standards.
• Maintain safety programs and conduct safety meetings.
• Maintain redline as-built drawings and update construction documents.
