Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Field Engineer to join our team on active job sites across the United States. The role supports the Site Manager with layout, procurement, scheduling, and QA/QC activities to ensure project quality and safety.

Travel is required as projects are scattered nationwide; candidates may live anywhere in the United States and travel to project sites per Gray’s policy. A two-year degree or equivalent is preferred, with 2+ years of related construction experience or 4+

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school AND a minimum of 2 years of related construction experience OR 4+ years of relevant construction experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager in layout of building items, primarily structural, civil, process, and architectural items.
• Assist Site Manager in procurement of construction materials.
• Assist site and project team in execution of purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and execute receiving reports.
• Perform on-site material surveys and ensure quantities in place are reported weekly or as directed.
• Assist in scheduling construction activities and consolidating subcontractor activities on reports.
