C.D. Smith Construction is seeking a Field Engineer to provide day-to-day on-site support to the Superintendent and Project Manager in Milwaukee.

You will bridge field and office tasks, coordinating documentation, RFIs, submittals, and scheduling while serving as the on-site point of contact for subcontractors and owners or their representatives. You will gain hands-on exposure to construction operations, QA, and model coordination, with active involvement in all project phases, ensuring safety,

Responsabilités

• Update field drawing sets with RFIs and construction bulletins
• Draft, manage, and distribute RFIs to design team members
• Review subcontractor submittals against contract drawings
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and coordinate model RFIs
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and maintain project logs
• Maintain daily logs in Autodesk Construction Cloud and track progress
• Assist with field timesheets and on-site documentation
• Support self-perform field activities and site readiness
• Gather closeout documents including O&Ms, warranties, and attic stock
