Job summary

Consigli Construction is seeking a Field Operations Intern to assist field teams on active projects in Wisconsin. The role offers hands-on exposure to field coordination, safety program administration, quantity tracking, schedule analysis, and site documentation.

You will collaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers, gaining experience with daily reports, safety walks, scheduling, and quality control in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction site safety standards and protocols.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn CM software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• Strong organizational skills for documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with CPM concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support safety program administration to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with interpreting contract drawings, submittals, and docs.
• Help with daily/weekly activities including reports and safety walks.
• Develop understanding of project schedule and critical path analysis.
• Contribute to short-term planning to meet milestones.
• Participate in QA through site inspections and material verification.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet timelines and safety rules.
• Maintain daily logs, RFIs, and submittal tracking for communications.
• Monitor onsite material deliveries and inventory for progress.
• Attend project team meetings and report updates and challenges.
• Observe site conditions that may affect schedule, cost, or safety.
• Use CM software and tools to track and update project information.
