Job summary

Rex Moore Electrical & Systems Contractors & Engineers is seeking a Field Engineer to coordinate manpower, materials, logistics and field activities on construction projects. You will ensure QA/QC documentation, manage field training, and maintain current project documents while working with subcontractors and field staff.

Responsibilities include on-site material management, safety documentation, RFI handling, change management and participation in project scheduling meetings.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organization skills, ability to be a team player and detail oriented.
• Preferred experience in Construction Management or Field
• Preferred knowledge of electrical systems and their components
• Preferred read and understand electrical drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manpower and on-boarding/offloading of manpower on project sites.
• Assist with field workers' certification management.
• Manage on-site material, logistics, tools and rental equipment.
• Assist with QA/QC document management.
• Contacts AHJ for installation inspections as required by GC.
• Assist with field required commissioning meetings and documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractor’s field personnel.
• Schedule and renew Underground Service Alert tickets and provide OSHA notifications as required.
• Complete required prefabrication documentation.
• Coordinate field training.
• Ensure current project documents (drawings, submittals, RFIs) are uploaded to ACC Build.
