Job summary

Golden Gate Recruiting is hiring for American Turbines in San Francisco. The Site Engineer will own the on-site integration of the first microturbine installation, coordinating mechanical, electrical, and civil aspects to ensure proper fit and connections.

You will be based in San Francisco with weeks on-site during installation, defining the plan and ensuring it holds up as equipment arrives. Relocation may be needed; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with systems integration on complex industrial or power generation equipment.
• Site planning, balance-of-plant, or similar work coordinating multiple disciplines.
• Strong on-site problem solving and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Own how the first microturbine installation fits together at the site level, including layout and connections.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and civil scope to align with site realities.
• Translate turbine requirements into built infrastructure and address field conflicts before they arise.
• Spend extended weeks on-site during installation and ensure plans hold up when equipment arrives.
