Job summary

Golden Gate Recruiting is hiring for American Turbines in San Francisco to bring a deployable gas turbine product to market. The Mechanical Engineer will own the enclosure, baseplate, vibration isolation, and packaging for field-ready units.

You will design for manufacture, optimize footprint and install time, and drive hardware from drawing to deployed, scalable units. On-site role in SF with visa restrictions noted.

Qualifications

• Experience designing packaged machinery and mechanical systems for field deployment.
• Balance footprint, cost, serviceability and install time.
• Experience taking hardware from drawing to deployed unit.
• Familiarity with packaged power, gensets, turbochargers, or small gas turbines.

Responsibilities

• Own enclosure, baseplate, vibration isolation, and transport provisions.
• Define how core engine drops into a deployable unit and scales to hundreds.
• Ensure manufacturability and serviceability at scale.
