Job summary

TurbineOne is seeking a Field Engineering Manager to lead our Field Engineering function, guiding the technical leadership of field integrations and deployment across diverse operational environments. This player-coach role combines team leadership with hands-on architecture, tooling, and on-site deployment execution.

You’ll manage a skilled team, prioritize integration efforts, and ensure reliability, cybersecurity, and government compliance in field deployments across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in Field Engineering, Systems Integration, or related deployment roles.
• 4+ years leading or managing technical teams.
• Extensive experience with Linux, networking, and deploying software in complex/edge environments.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployment.
• Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash).
• Experience in production software in customer-controlled, hybrid, or mission environments.
• Strong prioritization while leading engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing Field Engineering team, establishing ownership and technical excellence.
• Define deployment workflows and integration playbooks for repeatability and reliability.
• Ensure field personnel readiness through training, documentation, and deployment guides.
