Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Field Construction Manager to lead on-site activities for mission-critical facilities in Tulsa, OK. You will oversee field operations, coordinate with General Contractors and vendors, validate schedules, and assure safety and quality throughout all project phases.

You will act as the Owner's advocate, tracking progress, resolving issues, and providing transparent executive-level updates. A strong field presence and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 5-7 years of commercial/industrial/mission-critical construction experience
• Experience with GCs and trades in active construction environments
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs and schedules

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Owner's primary on-site representative throughout all phases of construction.
• Maintain a consistent field presence and conduct daily site walks across all active areas.
• Monitor multiple trades to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Develop, review, validate, and reconcile construction schedules with the General Contractor.
• Verify field progress against contractor-reported updates and milestones.
• Provide reporting on project status, risks, and schedule performance.
• Lead and participate in coordination meetings (OAC, planning sessions).
• Track actions, commitments, and open issues through resolution.
• Ensure safety, quality, and accountability in project execution.
• Support commissioning readiness and turnover activities.
• Coordinate equipment deliveries and long-lead procurement impacts.
• Review changes and evaluate impacts to schedule, scope, and cost.
• Maintain daily and weekly field reports and project documentation.
• Communicate with owner leadership to ensure transparency and timely issue resolution.
