Job summary

Progressive Safety seeks a Construction Safety Manager for a major Tulsa project. The role involves on-site safety leadership, coordinating with the owner, GC, and subcontractors, and actively walking the site to identify hazards and coach teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial or industrial construction safety, strong OSHA knowledge, and the ability to lead from the field. Per diem available for qualified candidates along with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial or industrial construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
• Experience working directly with GCs and subcontractors.
• A confident communicator who can connect with everyone from craft professionals to executives.
• Someone who is visible, approachable, accountable, and willing to lead from the field.
• OSHA 500 preferred.
• CHST, ASP or CSP or similar certification is a plus.
• Data center / mission-critical experience is a plus.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent safety on-site while coordinating with ownership, GC, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Walk the project, identify hazards, and help resolve issues.
• Coach teams, participate in investigations, and support safety meetings.
• Help drive a culture where people want to work safely.
