Job summary

DaMar Staffing seeks an experienced Professional Fee Coder for an 11-week on-site contract in Dayton, OH. The role focuses on CPT, ICD-10-CM, and E/M coding across Primary Care, Cardiac/Vascular, and Hospitalist services. Epic experience preferred, CPC certification required, and a high-volume revenue cycle environment awaits.

Ideal candidates will work independently, manage multiple workqueues, and maintain high coding accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Professional Fee coding experience preferred.
• Strong experience with Primary Care and E/M coding required.
• Strong experience with Inpatient/Hospitalist Professional Fee coding required.
• Cardiology and/or Vascular coding experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of office, inpatient, and observation E/M guidelines.
• Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifiers, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate Professional Fee coding across Primary Care, Cardiac/Vascular, and Hospitalist/Inpatient Medicine services.
• Float between specialties and coding workqueues based on operational needs and volume.
• Apply advanced E/M coding knowledge across office, inpatient, observation, and related physician services.
• Code complex cardiac and vascular procedural or surgical encounters as assigned.
• Review provider documentation for accuracy, specificity, and completeness.
• Apply CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifier, payer-specific, and organizational coding guidelines.
• Maintain coding quality, productivity, and compliance standards in a high-volume healthcare revenue cycle environment.
• Identify documentation or coding trends and elevate concerns appropriately.
