Job summary

Cape Fox Mountain Point seeks an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead QC inspections, manage safety, and oversee subcontractors on a Corpus Christi naval installation. You will ensure adherence to plans, specs, and contract requirements while coordinating with Government officials and engineering staff.

The role requires extensive field supervision, daily reporting, and active management of punch lists, site safety plans, and project closeout with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience supervising/managing construction projects.
• Minimum 5 years of supervising federal construction project experience.
• Be 30-Hour OSHA certified and carry the OSHA 30 card.
• Knowledgeable with EM 385-1-1 safety requirements manual (March 2024).
• First Aid/CPR trained; able to obtain clearance for Government facilities.
• USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control inspections to ensure work complies with plans, specs, and contract requirements.
• Maintain and track QC deficiency logs and corrective actions through completion.
• Review, package, and submit construction submittals.
• Conduct pre-final inspections, develop punch lists, and ensure all deficiencies are corrected.
• Coordinate and conduct final inspections with Government contracting officials and engineering personnel.
• Maintain photo documentation of work progress and installed conditions.
• Manage project closeout activities, including warranties, with the Project Manager.
• Prepare and submit detailed daily reports.
• Maintain required subcontractor badging and base access processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audits and documentation requirements.
