Job summary

Cape Fox Mountain Point is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager (QCM) to lead day-to-day QC on US government construction projects along the Gulf Coast. The role supervises on-site teams, liaises with Government representatives, and ensures safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include coordinating submittals, punch lists, final inspections, and project closeout documentation, with travel as required to field sites. OSHA 30 and EM 385-1-1 knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience supervising/managing construction projects in various capacities (Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, Site Safety).
• Minimum 5 years of supervising federal construction project experience.
• Must hold OSHA 30-hour card and EM 385-1-1 knowledge.
• First Aid/CPR trained and able to obtain security clearances as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control inspections to ensure work complies with plans, specs, and contract requirements.
• Maintain and track quality deficiency logs and corrective actions.
• Review, package, and submit construction submittals.
• Conduct pre-final inspections, develop punch lists, and ensure deficiencies are corrected.
• Coordinate final inspections with Government officials and engineering personnel.
• Maintain photo documentation of work progress and installed conditions.
• Manage project closeout activities with the Project Manager.
